Mary Ann STARR, the oldest child of Samuel Steele STARR and Hannah MELEAR, was born 13 Nov 1820 in Georgia.
She married Lemon M. BROWN about 1840 in Newton County, Georgia and they had one son:
- Samuel S., b. abt. 1842.
Mary Ann died on 24 Aug 1844 at the young age of 23 years, only one month after her sister, Martha Reid. Her body was interred at Dover Cemetery in Newton County, Georgia. Her widower husband, Lemon M. BROWN, would be remarried to the youngest child of Silas and Elizabeth Cain STARR, Lilly Barnett STARR.
