Richard MELEAR was the father of a family that married into the STARR family several times. His wife was named Martha, but we do not currently know her maiden name.
After Richard and Martha married, they had at least two daughters:
- Hannah, b. 19 Nov 1794, d. 27 Mar 1856. (Married Samuel Steele STARR).
- Fenton, b. 15 Aug 1777, d. 8 Sep 1836. (Married Joshua STARR).
