Isaac Willingham was born about 1820 in Georgia. He married Louisa Ann GARNETT about 1839 in Lincoln County, Georgia. The information I have on Isaac and his two wives was graciously provided to me by Harry Rudd, the great-grandson of Martha E.
The known children of this couple are:
- Nancy Jane, b. 1842.
- William Newton, b. 1845, d. 1886. (Married Mary Ann SHARP).
- George Crawford, b. 19 Oct 1847, d. 31 Dec 1885. (Married Frances Ann SHARP).
It is suspected that Louisa died either in childbirth or shortly after the birth of George Crawford. Isaac remarried to Mary Ann GUNBY (b. abt. 1826) on 9 Mar 1848 in Lincoln County, Georgia.
- Martha E., b. abt. 1850. (Married Ivine T. SHIVER).
- Caleb Ben Franklin, b. 8 Apr 1852/1853, d. 20 Jan 1925. (Married Mary Margaret MAYES).
- Mary L., b. abt 1854/1855. (Married George Oliver SHIVER).
