Jonathan L. Luckey was born Jan 1847 in Camilla, Mitchell County, Georgia to Seaborn LUCKEY and Irene BARFIELD.
He was married to Missouri A. COLLINS abt. 1875 and to this couple was born 5 children:
- John Byron, b. Nov 1877.
- Eula, b. May 1880. (Married W. L. EVANS).
- William M. "Pete", b. 4 Sep 1881, d. 3 Apr 1961. (Married (1) Sallie Lou SHIRAH and (2) Mrs. Bennie WALDEN).
- (twin), b. 5 Mar 1890, d. 30 Aug 1893.
- (twin), b. 5 Mar 1890, d. 30 Aug 1893.
Jonathan did serve in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Pension records for his service are extant. I do not recall the company he fought in.
Missouri Luckey died on 20 Nov 1912 in Camilla, Mitchell County, Georgia. She is buried at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camilla. Jonathan died on 11 Nov 1939, also in Mitchell County, Georgia.
