SMITH I know my family presently lives in the Robinson area, but my Mom's family keeps mentioning
Flat Rock, Illinois. Is Flat Rock, Illinois in Crawford County? If it isn't what county was it in. I am
trying to get some information on my Grandmother Ghloe SMITH WILSON. Wilson is her 3rd married name. My
Grandfathers name I believe to have been Allen Smith. They had 12 or 13 children, many of who still live
in Illinois.

I am looking for information on a Winfield DUKE. He was born in Oblong, Il. about 1869. In 1894 he
married Clara RITTMAN in Newton. By 1897 she had remarried because Winfield had died, however I can find no
info as to when he died. I did not find any death record of any type on a visit to Jasper County, Il. Any
help would be appreciated.

I have a great-great grandmother Fidelia Rachel JACKSON b. 30 September 1871 in OH married to Isaac N. DARNALL b.
1864 in IL. I believe that Fidelia's family lived in Crawford Co, IN. Fidelia's parents are Jesse JACKSON and Elizabeth
CHANEY. Fidelia lost a son Jesse in 1912 in Terre Haute, IN in a train accident (age 17) and his body was taken to
Crawford Co, Hardinsville, IL for burial. There is a Jesse JACKSON d. 15 July 1915 buried in a Hardinsville cemetery
(Civil War vet) and I am wondering if this Jesse is my 3rd great grandfather. Does anyone know this family?

Seeking info on Andrew and Lewis COLTON who both served in Company F 62 IL Infantry during the Civil War. Both
stated that there place of residence at the time of enlistment was Crawford Co.

Mary EVANS married 20 Nov 1842 in Crawford Co Hiram LAMB. They had two chldren Sarah Elizabbeth born 1843 and
Nancy Ellen b 1845. Mary EVANS LAMB died before the 1850 census, so I don't have a birth date or place of birth.
Her daughters died before the 1880 census, so I can't locate a birth place for her in that search either. I don't
know who Mary's parents or siblings might be, nor do I know if she was a widow or a single lady when she married
Hiram LAMB. The only other clue I have is in the 1880 Farmer Twp Rice Co KS census living near James and Martha
LAMB CROW are Charles EVANS age 28 IL, parents b IL, Julia 24 b IL parents b NC, Ernest age 3 b IL and Welsley 1
b KS and Wm Evans age 50 b IL parents b NC and Margaret 48 b IL parents NC. Martha LAMB CROW is the daughter of
Hiram from his first marriage to Kesander VICKERY. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Looking for Jesse RIPPLE's parents and siblings. Jesse RIPPLE married Elizabeth DAVIS prior to 1851. They had a
daughter named Leanah RIPPLE born 1851, Ill. Second, Jesse RIPPLE married Jeretta BRASHEAR, 1863, Crawford Co., Illinois
and had at least 2 Charles Eaphriam and Daniel H.. Leanah married William NEVIL in Kansas in 1880. A postcard from Mary
RIPPLE to cousin William was post marked Palestine, Crawford Co., Illinois and dated 1915 so believe RIPPLE family
resided there. Elizabeth was previously married to John G. WATSON. Their son Joseph T. WATSON shows up in 1880 Kansas
census as half-brother to Leanah RIPPLE. Any help would be appreciated. Just can't seem to get past Jesse.

PA. David E. KELCHNER married Elizabeth JENSEL and had the following children: Henry John Mary Emma Amelia (?) David E.
KELCHNER remarried Mary Ann SILER and had the following children: Jacob Daniel William Charles Robert. I am interested
in ancestors as well as descendants.

Crawford County Il. and died 2-17-1924 in Crawford County Il. His father is John HEATH.

My father and grandmother where born in Palestine IL. My grandmother is buried there Name Deast DECKER. Her husband
was William DECKER, my grandfather. This is as far back as I can get. Grandmother's maiden name was HULSE. I also remember the name MCDANIEL from my childhood. I now have 2 sons named DECKER and im trying to get info to pass on to them. We all lived in Indianapolis In, and now in Orlando FL. I inderstand there are lots of DECKER's in the local graveyard. I got this info from a very nice and helpfull lady named Linda Fulling who I called this week. MY dad and his dad both worked for the Peoria and Eastern Railroad. Any info would really help.

I am searching for any info. on my gggrandfather Charles B. NASH. I know he was b.1821 OH m.1850 to Isabella SHAW in
Crawford County Illinois. I can not find where he was born in Ohio or to whom. Family oral history states he was a bound
boy. He stow-away on a steam boat up the Ohio river to the Wabash. He was discovered and put ashore in Russellville, IL.
He was trying to get to Terre Haute IN. I don't know if he had family there. However, if he was a boy when he came to
Russellville, I find no record until his marriage in 1850, when he was 29.

Joseph and Dorcas HENRY were in Crawford Co. by 1830 having come from Smith Co., TN. According to the 1850 census they
were born in NC. Joseph was bn. 20 July, 1772 and d. 20 Sept., 1858. Dorcas was bn. 1773 and d. 1 Oct., 1856. This is from
their tombstones in the Good Hope Cem. They lived near Flat Rock in Honey Creek T. Their children bn. in TN: Samuel bn.
1810 marr. Louisa DAVIS, Mary bn. 1815 marr. George PARKER and Robert Alexander bn. 1818 marr. Sarah LACKEY, dau. of Adam
LACKEY and Catherine LESTER. There may have been other children. Need info. on birthplace and parent's names of Joseph and
Dorcas. Also the same for Catherine LESTER. Will gladly share my info.

cemetery in which he is buried. It may be the New Hope Cemetery.

Looking for anyone who might have any info regarding the Francis DRAPER family. Francis married Nancy GURLEY
in Crawford County in 1834. They had numerous children throughout the 30's and 40's but the family does not appear
on the census in 1840 or 1850. I believe Nancy GURLEY is the daughter of Morris GURLEY, also of Crawford County,
IL formerly from NC.

WALLS family: I am looking for my acestory starting back from Jan. 18, 1874, the birth date of Samuel Watt WALLS in
Crawford County, Ill. His parents were Jeremiah WALLS born Feb. 26, 1829 and died Feb. 18, 1920 (Birth place not known).
His mother was Amanda BELL born Mar 19, 1843 and died March 15, 1920. (Birth place not known)I believe Samuel had 4 sisters
and 3 brothers. One I know is Jeremiah WALLS Jr. Any help would be appreciated.
