DUNLAP, GOFF, PARKER -- Looking for info on Frank DUNLAP had one son named Harrison (b: 10/22/1859), may have had more children. Also looking for info on Mason GOFF; married Elizabeth PARKER in Crawford County in mid 1800s, had a daughter, Mary Ellen GOFF on 3/11/1860. Elizabeth PARKER's father was possibly a full blood Native American Indian. Any info would be very much appreciated. Would be willing to share my research.

I am presently looking for descendents of Rev. John WALLACE (who settled in Daviess Co., IN in 1808). I believe some of his children and grandchildren moved into the surrounding counties. Please contact me if you have any information on WALLACE families that moved into Crawford Co. from Indiana.

Jeremiah KING b. 1801 and Henrietta PYLES b. 1806 came to Crawford County in 1846. They had 10 children. My ancestor, Sylvester KING, b. 1850, was the youngest. He married Lillie SWAREN in 1862. Seeking information on Lillie's parents, William A. SWAREN and Martha BURCH and on Jeremiah's and Henrietta's parents.

Seeking information on Adam Thomas JOHNSON b.5 Jan 1833, Melissa MARTIN, b. 1 Jan 1839, married in that vicinity. Aif (possible Alf, or Alfred)JOHNSON was Adam's father, mother Margaret, last name unknown. Left Crawford Cty in 1874 by covered wagon for TX. Have good info on family after arrival in TX. SINSABAUGH, WRIGHT, BROWN, ENDSLEY in the city of Robinson. Looking for information on Harry B. SINSABAUGH b: 1862 d: 1937, married, 8/1/1883 to Lula WRIGHT (no info). 3 children: Frances Wright who married but had no kids; Georgia b:7/29/1998 d:11/977 who married a Fred ENDSLEY b: 8/28/1895 d: 11/1967; Vi who married a Mr. BROWN, had a daughter Georgia and died at a young age of breast cancer. She was married. The ENDSLEY had children of which I do not know.

Looking for information on Joseph and Mary UPDIKE. They appear on the 1860 Crawford County Census. Their son Isaac UPDIKE was born in Hamilton County Ohio in 1840. According to the Census, Joseph and Mary UPDIKE were both born in New Jersey. Joseph's Date Of Birth 1802, Mary's Date Of Birth 1800. Looking for any information about parents, siblings, other children, etc.

Looking for information on James CURRENT, born 1817 in Ohio, married to Harriet HOLLAR, born 1823 in Prussia. Married in Coshocton Cty Ohio 1842, Children: Clara born 1846 Ohio, Henry born 1848 Ohio, Emeline born 1853 Ohio, Elizabeth born 1858 Crawford County, Illinois. James and Harriet divorced and James married Emly in 1871. They had 1 child Anna M born 1872 Crawford County, Illinois. Harriet married Jacob STIFAL in 1868. She died in Crawford County around 1873. Henry CURRENT married Sarah Unknown in Crawford County. They had 1 child born in Crawford County. The CURRENT family appeared on the 1870 and 1880 Crawford County Census. I am looking for any information about where they came from and where they went.

Looking for information on Barbara BEAR. She was born in Ohio about 1846. She appears on the 1860 Crawford County Illinois Census. On the 1860 Census she is listed as part of the STIFFLE (STIFAL) family, also from Ohio. Jacob STIFFLE age 58, Caroline STIFLE age 23, Jacob STIFFLE age 22, Rose STIFFLE age 20, Brabara BEAR age 14. Barbara does not appear on th the 1870 Census for Crawford County.

Looking for information on John HALLER. John was born 1812 in Wurtenburg, Germany. He was married to Hannah born 1818 in Ohio. They had 4 known children: Jacob born 1849 Ohio, John born 1852 Illinois, Julia born 1855 Illinois, Samuel born 1860 Illinois. The HALLER family appear on the 1860 and 1870 Crawford County Census. I am looking for information about parents and siblings of John HALLER.

SMITH SLUSHER - John A SMITH was born in VA abt 1814. On 3 Sep 1839 he married Mary SLUSHER (b VA abt 1815 - d after 1880) in Page County VA. By 1844 they were living in Crawford Co, IL. In 1850 Census Both apeared with children, by 1860 and through 1880 only Mary and children were in the census, Thus believe she was widowed or divorced btwn 1855 and 1860. Children were: Mary E SMITH (b abt 1844), Guy W SMITH (b abt 1847), Alfred E SMITH (b abt 1849) and Margaret SMITH (b abt 1855). Census' 1850 thru 1880 list residence as Oblong Twp. Any addit info/contacts appreciated.
