Seeking information concerning the family of John UPDIKE and Mary WARNER who settled in Crawford County, Illinois in 1837. Mary was the daughter of John WARNER who also came to Illinois at the same time and settled in Lawrence County. Rachel Virginia UPDIKE, daughter of John and Mary Updike married Joseph S. BAKER. Joseph was a Honey Creek Township farmer and also preached at the Oak Ridge Methodist Church. Rosa Ella BAKER, the daughter of Joseph and Virginia Baker, married Everett JOHNSON, the son of Duane JOHNSON and Margaret HENDERSON.

Seeking information on Armazinda MARTIN (b. 1822 Crawford Co.), and Hezakiah MARTIN (m. 1825!! Crawford Co. and buried at Flat Rock). Was Armazinda, Hezakiah's daughter as one record says? Her birth date found in two unrelated places seems correct. Did he marry someone before Nancy MCCOLPIN (d. 1874-80 in Crawford Co). Is Hezakiah's marriage date correct? Also seeking information on John N,S,or M. WALLACE (m. Armazinda in 1848 in Crawford Co) and his possible father Benjamin WALLACE (d. 1838 in Crawford Co.)

Researching the PASLEY and MANNING families who resided in Crawford Co. Earl PASLEY was born in Crawford Co. 24 Dec 1869, the son of Steven and Emily Hulse PASLEY. Mary Florence MANNING was born in Crawford Co. 09 Aug 1883, the daughter of Croweder J. and Sarah C. Miller MANNING. They were married in 1903.

Looking for further information on the MCGEE and MANN lines. Seth W. MCGEE was born 7 Apr 1881 in Clarion Co. Penn. and died 25 Sep 1945 in Oblong, Crawford Co., Ill. Did his parents also died in Crawford Co.? Seth is the son of Seth MCGEE and Sara TURNEY, both born in Pennsylvania, cannot locate their death records in Pennsylvania. Is there an index to deaths in Crawford Co.? Seth W. married Grace L. MANN b. 19 July 1890 in Crawford Co. Ill. the daughter of George Parmer MANN and Sarah HOUSTON
