Obituary of Mrs. Mollie Edith (DAVIS) SCHOFFSTALL, published in The Robinson Argus, 5 Jun 1958
Funeral Services for Mrs. Fred Schoffstall Held Monday Afternoon
   Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Marshall Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Mollie Edith Schoffstall, 64, who died Friday afternoon at her home southwest of Oblong. Rev. Frank Treadway officiated with burial in the Waggoner Cemetery.
   Survivors are her husband, Fred, and five children, Cleon of Claremont, Ill., Audrey Paddick of Waverly, Tenn., Katherine Poland of Terre Haute, Ind., Velma Buss of Olney and Gilbert of Oblong; three brothers, Roy Davis of Olney, Vernie Davis of Whiting, Ind., and Myrle Davis of Oblong; four sisters, Cora Schoffstall of Calhoun, Ill., Mary Zimmerly of Olney, Lou Stone of Olney and Anna Hart of Olney; also twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Obituary of Samuel P. JORDAN, published in The Robinson Argus, 5 Jun 1958.
Funeral Services for Sam Jordan at Oak Grove Church
   Funeral services for Samuel P. Jordan, 74, retired farmer of Route 2, Palestine, were held Sunday afternoon at the Oak Grove Church with Rev. Carl Hall officiating, assisted by Rev. Alan Jones. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
   Mr. Jordan, who was the son of William F. and Chloe Stoner Jordan, died early Saturday morning at the Schmidt Clinic.
   He is survived by his widow, Lauda; one daughter, Mrs. Buell Fuller of Robinson; one son, Gene of Sunnymeade, California; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Henderickson of Danville and Mrs. Gladys Rodocker of Palestine; one grandson and four great-grandchildren.

Obituary of Mrs. Eva M. WRIGHT, published in The Robinson Argus, 18 May 1967.
Mrs. Eva M. Wright, 85, of West Union, died unexpectedly at 6:30 a.m. May 13 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Clatfelter, 809 N. Cross St., Robinson.
   Also surviving are a son, Harry Wright, of West Union; a sister, Mrs. Ella Powers, of Paris; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.


   Mrs. Wright was a member of the West Union O.E.S., No. 776.


   Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. May 15 at First Baptist Church in West Union with Rev. Otis Simmons officiating. Burial was in Harrison Cemetery.

Obituary of Mrs. Ella McCOLPIN, published in The Robinson Argus, 18 May 1967.
Funeral services for Ella McColpin, 86, Flat Rock, were held at 2 p.m. May 15 at the Bond Funeral Home in Flat Rock with Rev. Walter Davidson officiating. Burial followed in Tohill Cemetery.
   Mrs. McColpin died Saturday afternoon at the Hart Sheltered Care Home in Oblong.
   Surviving are two daughters, Ruby Johnson, San Francisco, Calif., and Bertha Corbett, Etna, Calif., and eight sons, Ray and Harry McColpin of Robinson; Lloyd McColpin of Odin; Jasper McColpin, Anderson, Ind.; Roy McColpin, Vine Grove, Ky.; Carson McColpin, Oblong, Lawrence McColpin, Sumner, and Glen McColpin, Sandoval. Also surviving are 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Obituary of Harlen McCOLPIN, published in The Robinson Argus, 21 May 1970.
   Harlen McColpin, 89, St. Francisville, formerly of Flat Rock vicinity, died May 16 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville.
   Surviving are his daughter, Kathryn Riley, St. Francisville, and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in St. Francisville with burial following in Tohill Cemetery.

Obituary of Addie Marie (REINOEHL) LANKSTON, published in The Robinson Argus, 21 May 1970.
   Mrs. Addie Marie Lankston, 75, of Robinson, died May 16 at Crawford Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. The daughter of the late Sanford and Emma Parker Reinoehl, she is survived by her husband, Walter; one daughter, Pauline Osborn, Chase, Kan., a son Emerson Lankston, Metiere, La., one sister, Belle Detar, rural Robinson; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
   Mrs. Lankston was a member of the Audrina Chapter 93, Order of the Eastern Star, Eldorado, Kan., and the Royal Neighbors. She was also pianist for Pearl Chapel United Methodist Church.
   Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pulliam Funeral Home here with Rev. Robert Gillespie, Flat Rock, officiating. Burial followed on Robinson New Cemetery.

Obituary of R. C. WILSON, published in The Robinson Argus, 21 May 1970.
   R. C. Wilson, 79, Palestine, died early May 14 at the Illinois Central Hospital in Chicago.


   Survivng him are his wife, Barbara; four sons, Bernard Wilson, Palestine; Charles Wilson, Steger; Eugene and Larry Wilson, both of Robinson; two daughters, Ardith McCoy, Robinson; Birdena Hardesty, Palestine; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Bennett and Mrs. Ester Weston, both of Miami, Florida.
   Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Goodwine Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Kelly officiating. Burial followed in Robinson New Cemetery.
